FAIRFAX, Va. – The Leopard softball team could never really get the bats going on Saturday afternoon against a 9-3 Radford squad which scored seven runs in the first two innings in an eventual 8-0 final.

Natasha Miner had the Leopards' only hit in the game, an infield single with two outs in the third inning. Meanwhile, Radford saw Talia Douglas drive in four runs, two in the first on a double and two more in the second on a home run.
Hannah Cook (0-1) was the Lafayette pitcher of record, allowing eight runs on nine hits with three strikeouts. Cam Andersen (2-0) faced 16 batters over five innings in the win.
Lafayette (0-3) will finish off the Patriot Classic on Sunday vs. Radford at 9 a.m. and Delaware at 1:30 p.m.
