ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Lafayette College volleyball team bounced back to defeat Navy Saturday night in four sets (25-13, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21) for its sixth win in its last seven matches.

Sophomore

Lafayette got off to a quick start, taking the first two sets in commanding fashion. Navy bounced back to take the third and took control of the set with a 4-0 run to make it 15-6. The Leopards did not go away, scoring six of the third set's final eight points, but the charge was too late.
The Leopards did not waste any time in the fourth, going on a 7-0 run early to make it 10-5. They would not look back, taking the fourth and closing the weekend with a split.

Seniors
Grace Tulevech and
Madi Wahrmund, along with freshman
Abby Nieporte each had eight kills while the senior duo each had five blocks. Sophomore
Katie Weston put together a 16-dig outing with an ace and five assists.

The Maroon and White will look for redemption, traveling to Army next weekend for a Saturday matchup with the Black Knights at 4 p.m.
