NEW YORK – The Lafayette College men's basketball team closed a five-game road trip with a 73-50 victory Monday night at Columbia in Levien Gymnasium.

It was a tie game at 14-14 midway through the first half before the Leopards exploded for an 18-0 run, started by a freshman
Devin Hines' and-one and capped off by a sophomore
Eric Sondberg 3-pointer.

Tyrone Perry led all scorers with 14 points with six rebounds and four assists while freshman
CJ Fulton got into double-digits for the first time in his young career with 11 to go along with six rebounds, six assists and three steals.

It was a slow start to the second half where the Leopards started 0-of-8 from the field before junior
Leo O'Boyle took the lid off with a corner 3-pointer at the 14:05 mark.

O'Boyle scored in double-digits for the second-straight game with 11 points while sophomore
Kyle Jenkins had 10.

Lafayette ended the game, scoring 10 of the last 14 points that was started by a Fulton 3-pointer and capped off by freshman
Isaiah Thompson's pair of free throws.

The Maroon and White moved the ball efficiently, racking up 16 assists on 22 field goals and got to the line a season-high 22 times, making 19 freebies.

Sondberg had nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from 3-point range while freshman
Chris Rubayo had six points and three boards.

The Leopards finally return home after four-straight away contests, hosting Sacred Heart Thursday night at 7 p.m. inside
Kirby Sports Center.
