BRONX, N.Y. – The Lafayette College women's basketball team fell to Fordham, 71-36, on Sunday afternoon, snapping its three-game win streak and moving to 4-6 on the season.

The Leopards were led by junior
Jessica Booth who totaled a team-high 14 points. Freshman
Abby Antognoli, in her first collegiate start, totaled six points as did senior
Naomi Ganpo. Â

Fordham (8-3, 0-0 A10) opened up the game on a 7-0 run before Booth got Lafayette (4-6, 0-0 PL) on the board. Fordham led by eight at the end of the first quarter.

Ganpo put in the first bucket of the second quarter to cut the Rams' lead in half. The two sides then traded three-pointers until the score stood at 18-9 Fordham.

Fordham stretched its lead to 25-9 off a 7-0 run, before Wilson put in a jumper to cut Fordham's lead to 14. The Rams led 30-13 at halftime.

Antognoli scored the first points of the third quarter for either side, almost two and a half minutes into the game to put the score at 30-16. The Rams responded with a 4-0 run to push their lead back out bringing the score to 49-27 heading into the final 10 quarter of the game.

Fordham opened up the fourth quarter with a 9-0 and dominated the rest of the game to close out the Sunday afternoon victory.
The Rams were led by Anna DeWolfe who totaled a game-leading 24 points and Kendell Heremaia who also found herself in double figures with 18.Â

Lafayette is back in action Dec. 22 when the Maroon and White close out non-conference action at LIU.
