Offense struggles in defeat in Lewisburg

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Lafayette men's lacrosse team couldn't sustain enough offense in Lewisburg, Pa. on Saturday evening, falling to Bucknell by a 14-6 score.

The game was even through the opening quarter as the defenses controlled play with Bucknell leading, 3-1. The Bison offense came alive in the second, though, scoring four of the six goals to take a 7-3 lead into the halftime break.

Bucknell opened the game up after the halftime break, dominating the third quarter with six straight goals to tak a 13-3 advantage. Evan Lotz's score to open the fourth stopped the Bison scoring run, but it was too little, too late for the Maroon and White before the clock sounded on a 14-6 final.
