Easton, Pa. -- Lafayette College women's tennis (3-3, 1-2 PL) had its two-match winning streak snapped by Loyola (7-3, 1-1 PL) on Saturday afternoon, 6-1. 

Junior Maureen McCormack posted wins in both singles and doubles. She won her fourth flight singles match over Anna Rico in three sets after partnering with sophomore Halle DeNardo earlier in the day for a 6-3 second-flight doubles set win.

Senior Samantha Snyder was unbeaten on the season heading into this match, but fell in a three-set battle at second-flight singles. She took the first set, 7-5, against Greyhounds senior Abigail Thornton. Her opponent rallied to take the following two sets for the win.

The Leopards return to play on Sunday against Saint Joseph's.
