ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Lafayette College men's tennis (1-5, 1-1 PL) fell 7-0 in its non-conference match against La Salle (2-5, 0-1 A-10) on Friday afternoon.

The Leopards battled to third sets in their matches at third- and fourth-flight singles. 

Sophomore Josh Wolfe took his opening set, 6-3, against La Salle senior Connor Merrill in the third-flight match, but dropped the second set and fell in the deciding 10-point tiebreaker, 10-6. 

Fellow sophomore Nash Lovallo rebounded after a first set loss to take his second set, 6-2, against La Salle senior Colin Lucius. Lucius won the fourth-flight match with a 10-7 win in the deciding 10-point tiebreaker.

Lafayette returns to Patriot League play next weekend with a match at noon on April 10 against Loyola.
