Leanna Deegan's career-best 36 kills.
The 36 putaways is the second-most in a single match in Division I this season as Deegan also added 14 digs for her third double-double of the year and hit .418.
After getting off to a quick start, the Pioneers were able to take the third and fourth sets to extend the match and pulled it out in the fifth.
Senior
Grace Tulevech was also in double-digits with 11 kills while sophomore
Alyssa Vitale had 55 assists and two service aces.
The Leopards continue the Sacred Heart Invitational Saturday, taking on Fairfield at 10:30 a.m. and UC Irvine at 4 p.m.
