NEW HAVEN, Conn.– The Lafayette field hockey team was defeated by the Yale Bulldogs 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Yale's Lily Ramsey earned the lone goal with a tip on a penalty corner rebound at 25:28.
The Bulldogs held the advantage in total shots (19-13), but penalty corners were tied at seven apiece.
Senior defender
Sydney Woolston tallied one defensive save.
Lafayette's freshman goalkeeper
Raffi Fragomeni made six saves in the match. Her Yale counterpart, Luanna Summer, made five.
The Leopards have one conference game next Saturday at Colgate University.
