BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior
Alex Sutton earned the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week award, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Sutton had a season-high eight saves in the 1-0 win over Bucknell on Saturday evening. The New York, N.Y. native also recorded his fifth shutout this season in the victory.
The Leopards faced 18 shots against Bucknell, with 14 occurring in the second half. Sutton played a pivotal role in ensuring the 1-0 victory.
The Economics major currently has a .800 save percentage and a 0.60 goals-against average while facing 79 shots in 2022.
The Leopards will host Lehigh during The Rivalry on Saturday at 7 p.m. This will also be the LEAD Council/No Room for Racism Game for the Maroon and White.
