Makayla Andrews led the Leopards with 11 points, while sophomore
Halee Smith added 10 with three three-pointers and a free throw.

The 2021-22 Ivy League runner-up had three players in double figures, with Abby Hsu leading with 25 points while shooting 81 percent (9-11) from the field.

Columbia had a 5-2 lead early in the first quarter, which was the closest margin between the opponents in the the contest. The Lions exploded for a 20-1 run for the remainder of the quarter, shooting 58.8 percent from the floor, to head into the second up 25-3.

Andrews netted the first basket of the second quarter, as Columbia ran farther out of reach. The Lions put up 17 points from off
 turnovers, heading into halftime up 43-8.Â

Columbia led 69-17 at the end of the third, with the Leopards putting up eight points. Lafayette came alive in the fourth quarter, scoring 23 points. The Leopards hit five three-pointers early in the quarter, with Smith draining three, whileÂ
Abby Antognoli and Jess Booth chipped in one apiece. Â
Hsu and Columbia shot 57 percent from the floor, with 44 points in the paint, while the Leopards shot 29.4 percent.
