Lafayette vs. Notre Dame Women’s Basketball Game Postponed

Health and safety concerns force alteration of Leopards’ upcoming schedule

EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette vs. Notre Dame women's basketball game scheduled for Thursday at Kirby Sports Center has been postponed due to health and safety protocols within the Lafayette women's basketball program.

No makeup date has been set. The Leopards are scheduled to play Notre Dame in South Bend in 2023-24, part of a two-game agreement between the schools that was slated to begin Thursday.

"Obviously, this postponement is very disappointing for our team and our program," said Lafayette head coach Kia Damon-Olson. "An opportunity to play a top-10, ACC program like Notre Dame in Kirby Sports Center is exciting for our community and this game, in particular, generated a lot of local fan interest."

Lafayette is scheduled to return to action after final exams, hosting St. Francis-Brooklyn on Dec. 21.
