EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette College men's basketball team fell in the regular-season finale Saturday afternoon to Lehigh, 78-58 inside Kirby Sports Center.

Prior to the game, Lafayette honored its three seniors and head coach
Fran O'Hanlon, coaching his final regular-season home game inside Kirby Sports Center.

All three seniors,
Tyrone Perry,
Jay Vaughan and
Tomas Verbinskis, were included in the starting lineup and all three got into the scoring column led by Perry's eight points.

Vaughan managed a career-high six points with a steal and a rebound while Verbinskis scored five points, including a 3-pointer.

The visitors jumped out to an early lead and never surrendered it behind Lehigh's Evan Taylor's 23 points and nine rebounds.

Lehigh grew its lead to double-figures by the 10-minute mark in the first half before back-to-back 3-pointers from Perry and sophomore
Leo O'Boyle gave the Leopards life. The visitors responded and grew the lead to 20 by the break.

The Leopards struggled to find the basket, shooting just 34% on the afternoon while Lehigh shot it 55%. Lafayette found success in transition, outscoring the Mountain Hawks, 17-2, in fast-break points.

The attention now turns to the Patriot League Tournament, with the Leopards starting out inside Kirby Sports Center on Tuesday night with the opponent and time TBA.
