EASTON, Pa.- The Lafayette women's tennis team was defeated by Marist this past Saturday, with opening serve going up at 12 p.m. on the Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts. The Leopards were defeated by the Red Foxes 6-1. Sunday's match versus the LIU Sharks was canceled.
"Overall, both teams were competing very well," said head coach
Ralph Van Ormer, looking forward to the upcoming Patriot League play. "Women had the opportunity to win their match after securing the doubles point, but fell short in 4 singles third supersets."

The Leopards travel to their first conference opponent of the season, Army, this Friday.
