WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Lafayette College women's lacrosse team fell in its season finale to Army on Friday afternoon by a 20-2 final in Michie Stadium. The Leopards' final record for 2022 will sit at 2-13 overall (1-8 PL).
The Black Knights shut out Lafayette during the first quarter, scoring eight unanswered goals. Freshman attacker
Sara Rogers rolled towards the net and put back the Leopards' first goal of the game at 13:02.
Army had another scoring stretch, gradually adding to their total of 13 at halftime.
The Leopards continued their valiant effort in the offensive portion of the field, taking three shots towards goal during the third quarter. The Black Knights were able to put three goals past freshman goalkeeper

Olivia Cunningham added a second goal for the Leopards at 3:19 in the fourth quarter, rolling around the crease off an assist from fellow classmate
Emilie de Keyzer.
Army finished with four goals over the Leopards in the final quarter, ending Lafayette's season just shy of the Patriot League Tournament.
The Black Knights held the advantage in ground balls (22-11), shots (41-21), clears (16-17 to 10-13) and draw controls (14-12).
Lafayette's Coldiron made five saves against the relentless Black Knight offense before sharing the net with Terraciano, who matched her. They shared the field with three Army counterparts: Lacey Bartholomay (6), Brooke Allen (5) and Tietjen Spoor (0).
