Field Hockey Downs New Hampshire 1-0

Findlay tabs the game winner in second quarter

EASTON, Pa.– The Lafayette field hockey team defeated the University of New Hampshire Wildcats 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. 

Freshman forward Hannah Findlay found the net for the Leopards at 19:08, assisted by seniors Molly McAndrew and Tara Hamilton. The Leopards showed great attacking prowess today with a record 16 shots on goal against the Wildcats.

Lafayette held the advantage in total shots (16-9) and penalty corners (8-6).

Lafayette's freshman goalkeeper Raffi Fragomeni made four saves in the victory. Her Wildcat counterpart, Jemma Woods, made 12.

The Leopards (2-6, 0-1 PL) travel to both conference opponent Bucknell and No. 8 NFHCA-ranked Princeton next weekend.
