EASTON, Pa.– The Lafayette field hockey team was defeated by the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 3-2 on Friday night.
Freshman midfielder
Josephine van Wijk put the Leopards on the board during a penalty corner at 15:57, assisted by
Hannah Findlay and
Lineke Spaans.
Senior defender
Sydney Woolston went coast-to-coast for her second goal of the season (46:29).
Lehigh's Abbie Brown posted a natural hat-trick to give the Mountain Hawks the upper hand.
Lafayette held the advantage in total shots (20-6) and penalty corners (9-2).

Raffi Fragomeni made two saves, while her Lehigh counterpart, Maddie Kahn, made 10.
The Leopards will host the Richmond Spiders at noon on Sunday to celebrate the seven-member senior class of 2023.
