EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette moved up in each of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Top 25 polls announced on Monday, advancing one place to No. 22 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the Stats Perform.

The Leopards are coming off a 24-16 victory over Fordham (which was receiving votes in both polls) on Saturday. The offense was buoyed by the return of sophomore running back
Jamar Curtis who carried a career-high 31 times for 204 yards.

Lafayette has been in the top 25 polls for four straight weeks. The Leopards reached No. 16 in the AFCA poll and No. 20 in the Stats Perform ballot on Oct. 30. Lafayette initially broke into the polls on Oct. 23, following their 35-25 win over then No. 11/15 Holy Cross on Oct. 21, snapping Holy Cross' 18-game conference winning streak.

John Troxell '94, Lafayette already has surpassed the program win total from each of the last 13 seasons. The Leopards finished their non-league slate with a 4-1 mark, the lone blemish against FBS foe Duke.

Lafayette (8-2, 4-1) enters the week with its focus on college football's most-played rivalry vs. Lehigh (2-8, 1-4) with the added opportunity to play for a Patriot league championship on Saturday in Bethlehem. The teams square off for the 159
th time in a series that began in 1884.
