EASTON, Pa.- The Lafayette men's tennis squad fell to St. Joseph's, 6-1, in a midweek matchup on College Hill.
"We played a competitive match against the Hawks and got a good win for our #2 player,
Jake Magnusson," said head coach
Ralph Van Ormer. "
Nash Lovallo and
Brady Wisdom earned a great #3 doubles victory. The program was coming off of a big win against Holy Cross, so it was a little bit of a sting. However, we will continue to work this week to get ready for St. Francis College-Brooklyn."
Victorious matches for the Leopards included:
Singles
Magnusson d. Agbo, 2-6, 6-1, 11-9
Doubles
Wisdom/Lovallo d. Serra/Butler, 7-6
The Leopards travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. on Saturday to face the St. Francis College Terriers at 2 p.m.
