EASTON, Pa. – The United States Marine Corps and American Volleyball Coaches Association announced that the Lafayette College women's volleyball program earned the 2023 USMC-AVCA Team Academic Award. 
 
The Leopards are one of 1,332 collegiate and high school volleyball teams to earn the honor after maintaining a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 or better. 
 
The award was created during the 1992-93 school year with the 2023 list of recipients marking an all-time record number of programs recognized for their academic achievements. 
 
Other Patriot League volleyball teams featured on this year's list include Bucknell, Holy Cross, Loyola and Lehigh.
