EASTON, Pa.– The Lafayette field hockey team battled the Big Ten's Ohio State to a 4-1 final on Sunday afternoon at Rappolt Field.
Freshman midfielder 
Stella Malinowski scored her first collegiate goal off of a rebound at 43:54 in the third period. While the Leopards were able to put quality shots on cage during the contest, the Buckeyes' first three tallies sealed the 4-1 final.
Ohio State held the advantage in total shots (14-8) and penalty corners (7-2).
Lafayette's sophomore goalkeeper 
Raffi Fragomeni made four saves on seven shots on goal. Her Buckeye counterpart, Abby Danson, made five saves on six shots on goal.
The Leopards travel to Vermont and UMass on Sept. 1 and 3, respectively.
