EASTON, Pa. -- Malik Hamm '23, who was a five-time All-Patriot League selection, two-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and Lafayette's career sacks leader, is continuing his football career in the National Football League. Hamm, a Baltimore native, will be playing for his hometown team, the Baltimore Ravens.
It became official on Tuesday night when the team trimmed its squad to 53 active players. Hamm, who initially signed as an undrafted free agent with the Ravens in May, made the move from defensive line while at Lafayette to outside linebacker where he will suit up on Sundays. Hamm saw significant snaps in the Ravens' first two preseason games, registering a sack in his debut and forcing a fumble in his second game.
