Dean DeNobile parlayed a four-touchdown effort into Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors it was announced on Monday afternoon.
DeNobile, who has started the last three games for the Leopards, ran for two touchdowns and threw for two others in a 28-20 win over CAA foe Monmouth. He completed 10-of-14 for 110 yards, including touchdown strikes to
Elijah Steward and
Chris Carasia as Lafayette churned out its most points since 2021. The Economics major also carried the ball 12 times for 50 yards (both career highs) to earn the first weekly honor of his collegiate career.
A native of Upper Saddle River, N.J., DeNobile has completed 36-of-56 (64%) for 375 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while playing in all four games.
At 3-1, the Leopards are off to their best start since 2012 and they will host Bucknell at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday of Homecoming Weekend on College Hill.
