EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette volleyball hosted the Army Black Knights on Friday night at Kirby Sports Center, resulting in a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-15, 25-12) for the visitors.

Friday's contest served as Lafayette volleyball's Professor Appreciation Game. Prior to the first serve, Lafayette players escorted 10 professors out during introductions to showcase their support. Thank you to all of our professors for attending Friday's game and for their continued support of Lafayette Athletics and our student athletes.

Army picked up a 7-4 lead before senior middle blocker Natasha Zorbas got the Leopards back on track with a kill assisted by freshman Mackenzie Calhoun. Lafayette then posted a small 4-2 run, tying the match at nine apiece. The Black Knights led 13-11, but a 5-2 scoring spurt gave the visitors breathing room. Army took the first set 25-19.

The visitors led within the first few points of the second set, but a kill by freshman outside hitter Destiny McKenzie tied the contest at 4-4.
