POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Lafayette women's basketball team continued the 2024-25 season with a 73-41 loss at Marist on Wednesday at McCann Arena.

Newcomers Rosie Scognamiglio (2) and Talia Zurinskas (1) notched points late in the period, but Marist led 21-8 after 10 minutes in Poughkeepsie.

Lafayette got back on track in the second period, outscoring the Red Foxes 12-11. Junior guard Kay Donahue (5) and sophomore forward Tasha Chudy (4) combined for nine of the Leopards' 12 points. However, Marist took its largest lead of the first half (18 points) at the 4:44 mark, after Morgan Lee dropped in a layup. At the break, Marist led 32-20.
