EASTON, Pa. - Freshman wide receiver and returner Mason Kuehner was selected to the FCS Football Central 2024 Freshman All-America First Team on Tuesday. 

Kuehner earned first-team honors as a punt returner. The team, which is composed of 69 players from 52 different programs, recognizes the best freshmen across the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).

The Nazareth, Pa. native appeared in all 12 games, where he made four starts and was a critical component of the special teams unit. Kuehner returned 16 punts on the season for a total of 200 yards, averaging 12.5 yards per return. In his third game for the Maroon and White, Kuehner ripped off a 58-yard return for touchdown vs. Marist.

The economics major was also a threat in the passing game, collecting 17 receptions for 258 yards and a touchdown. In the week following his 58-yard punt return touchdown, Kuehner hauled in a 69-yard touchdown pass against Columbia.
