EASTON, Pa. – Junior guard Abby Antognoli was named to Patriot League All-Academic Team on Monday morning. This is the second consecutive season that the Economics major has achieved the honor.

The point guard started in 29 of the Leopards' 30 games this year, missing out at Dartmouth due to injury. In her junior season, the Bay Head, N.J. native averaged 12.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 3.1 apg, leading the team with 91 assists. She ranked 13^th amongst the top scorers in the Patriot League, sixth in assists and first in minutes played, equating to 37.4 minutes per contest. On Mar. 8, Antognoli was named an All-Patriot League Third-Team honoree for the second year running.

An Economics major, Antognoli maintains a 3.95 cumulative grade-point average, while being involved in various student organizations and clubs on College Hill. She currently serves as the College's SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Vice President and she was nominated to be a participant in the Oaks Leadership Academy. She has made the Dean's List in all five of her semesters in Easton and was last year's Maroon Club Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Antognoli is a member of the Investment Club, Women in Finance Club, Empowering Female Athletes (EFA) and Lafayette's Environmental and Protection advocacy group. She also serves as a peer mentor, with the goal of helping and guiding first year student-athletes in adjusting to the rigors of college.
