ORLANDO, Fla. – Lafayette competed in matches against Sioux Falls, Bentley, Emporia State and Ithaca at a variety of courts during the 2024 spring break tournament trip from March 13-15.

"The women's team had big wins all week long. Contributions from everybody on the team helped us achieve victories versus Ithaca and Bentley," said head coach Ralph Van Ormer.  "Paraskevi Brigel and Layla Drotar both showed up big on the final day, including Drotar's third-set victory versus Ithaca to end the week. This will help us in our upcoming Patriot League season."

The Leopards bested Sioux Falls, 6-1, on the first day of play before splitting matches against Bentley, 7-0, and Emporia, 4-3, on Thursday. The squad returned from break with a 4-3 victory against Ithaca on March 15.
