EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette was outscored 17-3 by No. 8 Loyola Maryland on Saturday evening in Fisher Stadium.

Overall, Sydni Black led Loyola with four goals and two assists for six points, followed by Chase Boyle and Georgia Latch with three tallies apiece.

The Greyhounds earned a 3-0 advantage during the first quarter.

Kristin Igneri put the Leopards on the board with a free-position shot at 8:47 in the second period, trailing 4-1.

Loyola then began an 11-0 run that lasted to the end of the third quarter, staying safely out of reach, 15-1.

Igneri tallied her second of the day to kick off the fourth period (14:20) before Abby Romano book-ended the game at 4:02.

The Greyhounds held the advantage in draw controls (21-0), ground balls (39-22), shots (39-11) and clears (11-11 to 16-20).

Lafayette's senior goalkeeper Lexie Coldiron made 12 saves while her Loyola counterpart, Lauren Spence, made four. Molly Terraciano (2) and Kennedy Buntrock also shared the net for each program in the final quarter.

Next up, the Leopards travel to Colgate on Saturday for a 12 p.m. opening draw.
