EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette took American to double overtime, falling in a 1-0 decision on Friday evening at Rappolt Field. The programs last met on Nov. 4, 2023 during the Patriot League Championship title match.

Agustina Roffo was credited with the golden goal, assisted by Emilia Winkler, at 8:30 in the second overtime period. The Leopards had five opportunities on goal with one coming in the first overtime (63:09) as
Lineke Spaans was left alone in the opposing circle to battle American's goalkeeper.

American held the narrow advantage in total shots (9-8) and penalty corners (3-2) during the 72 minutes of play.

Raffi Fragomeni made three saves, while her Eagle counterpart, Bryn Underwood, made five.
The Leopards travel to No. 19 Penn State on Sunday for a 1 p.m. contest.
