Two back-to-back baskets by Donahue and a triple by Kiewiet handed the Leopards a three-point lead (27-24). The hosts finished the half with a six-point run to lead 30-27 at the intermission.

The Raiders outscored Lafayette 42-29 in the second half. Colgate captured a healthy 10-point lead (39-29) with a 9-2 spurt to open the third quarter.
