Both the men's and women's teams fell to the Greyhounds, the men scoring 83 to Loyola's 274 while the women had 70 points to the hosts' 287.
"It was a good meet for us. We've only been in the pool for 35 days and this meet is usually two weeks later so our performances were expected. If you compare this year's Loyola results to the 2024 meet, we were faster, however, now we have some performance data that we can go off of to make better race plans and changes in training," said Lafayette head coach James Dailey. "Our divers really did well today. They tried some new dives and scored pretty well."
"With 30 first years, the excitement around it being their first college meet was fun," continued Dailey. "That group really surprised the upper class, they'll have some work to do to stay ahead of the first years."
