Swimming and Diving Awarded CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

Men’s and women’s teams recognized for academic success during spring semester

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette's men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America, it was announced on Wednesday.

CSCAA acknowledges programs that achieve the highest standards in the classroom while representing their institution in the pool. In order to be eligible, teams must have a 3.0 or better grade-point average (GPA) for the spring semester.

The Leopard women came in with a 3.57 GPA from 49 student/athletes and the men posted a 3.33 from 29 members of the team.

"We are proud that both the men's and women's teams have achieved the College Swimming Coaches Athletic Association's Scholar All America team awards for the spring 2026 semester. There were 13 women and three men with a perfect 4.00 GPA," said Lafayette head coach James Dailey.

"I am excited that we are providing a program which allows our student-athletes to excel academically by creating a new environment that allows them to balance education, individual growth and achieving their athletic potential," Dailey continued. "We look forward to continuing the tradition into the fall semester."
