EASTON, Pa. – Freshman Beckham Dee has been named to the FCS Football Central Freshman All-America Team announced Monday.
The Pittsburgh native started every game at linebacker, finishing second on the team in tackles (62) and third on the squad with 7.0 tackles for loss (1.5 sacks).
Dee, who was one of 16 Leopards with 20 or more tackles in 2025, finished the season with an interception, three pass breakups, four QB hurries and a fumble recovery.
He helped guide the Leopards to an 8-4 overall mark and a 6-1 record in Patriot League play, despite returning just one starter on the defensive side of the ball. By contrast, the 2026 Leopards are slated to return nine starters on defense.
Lafayette will begin its spring football season on March 24 with the Maroon and White Spring Showcase set for 11 a.m. on April 25 at Fisher Stadium. The regular season will kick off Aug. 29.
