LEWISBURG, Pa. - Lafayette men's basketball continued the Patriot League stretch with a 76-69 loss at Bucknell on Wednesday at Sojka Pavilion.
Christian Humphrey-Rembert served as Lafayette's main option with a career-high 21 points on a 5-of-9 performance from 3-point range. He added a team-high four rebounds and a block on the night.

Caleb Williams (11) and
Andrew Phillips (10) also finished in double figures as the team put together a 43 percent performance from the floor.
Shareef Jackson's four points gave Lafayette a 14-7 edge over the Bison through the 12-minute mark of the first half. The Leopards hit 5-of-11 from the floor and added a pair beyond the arc.
Bucknell closed the gap using back-to-back 3-pointers by Pat Curtin and Jayden Williams, taking the lead, 15-14, at 9:54.
The Maroon and White resumed their advance using Humphrey-Rembert's pair from long range for a 13-10 leg to 4:24, and a 27-25 lead.Â
The Bison's Jacob Meachem helped his squad regain a 32-28 advantage once more with seven points in three minutes. With two seconds on the clock, a free throw by Amon Dorries ricocheted back to the hands of his Bison teammate, Achile Spadone. The senior guard drained a buzzer-beating 3-pointer for a 36-30 halftime lead.
Lafayette came out hot in the second half, limiting the hosts to just one point by the 16-minute mark. The Leopards' 7-1 run aided in a 37-37 tie at 15:39.
Despite being held scoreless for four minutes, Bucknell made up an 18-10 stretch to the seven-minute mark. Humphrey-Rembert's eight points kept the Leopards behind by three, 55-52, and brought him past his previous career-high.
By 1:02, the Bison sank all three attempts beyond the arc and all four at the charity stripe to jump out to a 70-60 lead.
Butler (0:55) and Williams (0:39) had layups that carried Lafayette to 65, before Phillips netted a 3-pointer to trail 72-68.
The squad was unable to overcome the final deficit after fouling to regain possession in the final 10 seconds of play.

Curtin led three opponents in double figures with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists as Bucknell shot 54 percent beyond the arc and 50 percent from the floor. The hosts collected 27 defensive boards to Lafayette's 19 on the glass.
The Leopards host Holy Cross next on Saturday at 1 p.m.
