EASTON, Pa. – Senior kicker
Jack Simonetta was named the Patriot League's Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Gotha, Fla. native took home the honor for the second straight week following a perfect performance during Lafayette's 31-17 road win at Fordham on Oct. 24. Simonetta went 4-for-4 on his PAT attempts and tacked on a 26-yard field goal late into the fourth quarter that sealed the Leopards' second conference win of the season.
Simonetta is coming off a two field goal and two PAT performance at Bucknell (10/17) that landed him his first weekly laurel in 2026. The Economics major currently holds the Maroon and White's career PAT record (156) and the single-season mark with 53 in 2025.
Lafayette returns to Fisher Stadium at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday for its inaugural Patriot League matchup with new foe Villanova.
