"We swam very well in the morning with one school record, 11 swimmers and divers in finals and 10 new all time top 10 performances. The meet is incredibly fast with the new NCAA automatic qualifying rules. What was 16th place last year is 25th place this year," said Lafayette head coach James Dailey.
"We entered the final session expecting some big performances and everyone delivered. Trevor Olson reset his 200 free school record. In my years coaching at Lafayette, we have never tied a school record and tonight we tied two," Dailey said.
The Maroon and White will compete in the fourth and final day of the Patriot League Championships on Saturday at 10 a.m.
