Men’s Basketball Set to Host Holy Cross in Patriot League Tournament First Round

Leopards remain in Easton to open postseason play on Tuesday

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette hosts Holy Cross at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the first round of the 2026 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship.

The Maroon and White are locked in as the No. 7 seed in the Patriot League standings and learned of its opponent on Saturday at the conclusion of the final Patriot League regular-season games, including the Leopards' 1 p.m. win against Army, 83-77.

For the Patriot League Tournament opening round, ESPN+ will provide live coverage of the action inside Kirby Sports Center.

All attendees, including faculty, staff and students may purchase tickets from the Lafayette ticket office. Adults are $14 and youth/student tickets are $7. Group tickets can be purchased by calling (610) 330-5471.

The winner of Tuesday's battle moves on and travels to play the No. 2 seed, Lehigh, in the quarterfinal round on Thursday. Two semifinals will be played Sunday, March 8 before the title game, slated for Wednesday, March 11.
