EASTON, Pa. -Â Junior guard Teresa Kiewiet and rookie Haylie Adamski collected Patriot League laurels on Friday, as the conference announced its 2025-26 women's basketball postseason awards.
Kiewiet was selected to the All-Patriot League Second Team, marking the first time the Mankato, Minn. native earned a spot on the all-league team. In a freshman campaign that witnessed her start 27 of Lafayette's 29 contests, Adamski was chosen for the All-Rookie Team.
Kiewiet was a key figure in the Leopards' offense, averaging 16.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg and 1.2 apg, while collecting five double-doubles. Kiewiet paced the Leopards in scoring, finishing with double-digit points in 25 of her 27 starts. The engineering major wrapped up the campaign ranked third in the Patriot League in scoring, 10th in rebounding, fourth in field-goal percentage (42.9%) and third in minutes played (33.8). Kiewiet ended the regular season with 439 points, which places her ninth on Lafayette's single-season scoring list.Â
A guard from Media, Pa., Adamski made an immediate impact in the Lafayette lineup. In her first collegiate start against Le Moyne (11/9), Adamski shot 7-15 from the field, including 4-10 from downtown, to finish with 22 points, seven rebounds and five steals. The economics major concluded the regular season averaging 9.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 0.8 apg. Against Army (2/28), Adamski knocked down her 63rd triple of the season, breaking the program's 20-year-old record for three-pointers made in a single season.
The Maroon and White travel to West Point, N.Y. on Monday for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal matchup against No. 3 Army.
