BETHLEHEM, Pa. -Â Lafayette concluded the 2026 season at Lehigh, taking down the Mountain Hawks by an 11-8 final decision on Wednesday evening at the Frank Banko Field.
Evelyn Guyer paced the Maroon and White with five points on three goals and two assists. Kristin Igner also scored three times and dished off an assist. Lehigh's scoring was fronted by Molly Snow's four goals, nine shots and five draw controls.
Isabelle Pohmer opened scoring for the Leopards, firing in a shot assisted by
Georgia Swarr at 14:19 for a 1-0 lead. Igneri extended the advantage once more at 7:54 with a free-position goal.
In the second period, Igneri struck again at 14:04 to keep the crosstown rivals at bay, 3-1. Lehigh's Snow (8:07) and Kacie Wines (1:45, 0:01) allowed a 4-4 tie at the halftime buzzer. Guyer (12:43) got on the board in that time for Lafayette.
Guyer, off an assist from Igneri at 11:50 in the third quarter, returned the Leopards to a 5-4 hold on the hosts. Swarr rallied for back-to-back tallies to make it a 7-4 game, before Pohmer closed the period out with her second strike of the game at 10:39.
In the final period, freshmen
Emma Toner and Guyer contributed to a 2-0 Leopard run by the nine-minute mark to stay out of reach, 10-4.
Lehigh's Snow ended her squad's scoring drought at 5:31, trailing 10-5. Karina Van der Walt (4:48) and Snow (4:14) helped the opponents get as close as three, 10-7.
Igneri secured a hat trick, driving around the crease at 2:45 for an 11-7 Lafayette margin. Van der Walt retaliated for the hosts one minute later to end the contest.
The Leopards held the advantage in draw controls (11-9), while Lehigh claimed the ground ball (17-15) and shot (28-26) margin. Lafayette cleared 17-of-20 attempts compared to the Mountain Hawks' 14-of-16.
Lafayette's senior goalkeeper
Kennedy Carr made nine saves in the victory. Her Mountain Hawk counterpart, Micaela Jennings, made seven.
The Maroon and White finalized the season with a 5-10 (1-8 PL) record.
