EASTON, Pa. – The 2026 Maroon Club Golf Outing, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, wrapped up a successful year on the Lafayette athletics front, bringing in a record $134,733 on Monday, June 22.
The annual event, which was held at Northampton Country Club, is the Maroon Club's largest fundraiser and featured 150 registered golfers.
The team of Lafayette golf coach Jim Hutnik '78, Kyle Hutnik, Gerry Dandeneau '70 and Coley Heydt carded a winning score of 17-under par (55) in the scramble format that featured mulligans. Coming in second place with a 14-under par (58) was the team of Phil Ng '88, Mike Joseph '88, Michael Heaney '86 and Glen Forrest '86.
The longest drive titles went to Jay Mottola '72 (men) and Jackie Santos '88 (women's) while Patrick Roche (5'6") and Kate Stanley (21'5") notched their tee shots closest to the pin.
With the Lehigh Valley Health Network as a presenting sponsor, more than 50 businesses and supporters sponsored Monday's event. A number of auction prizes were also generously donated, including rounds of golf from the host course Northampton Country Club and numerous alumni at prestigious courses in the Mid-Atlantic region.
This outing also included the Maroon Club Golf Outing Online Auction. Twelve auction prizes, valued between $375 and $10,000 were up for bidding, which ended at 6 p.m. on June 22.
