COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Katie Gibb, Lea Good, Stella Malinowski, Linda Nova and Lena Thedrian of the Lafayette field hockey program were named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Watchlist on Thursday afternoon.

Overall, 212 student-athletes were selected to showcase field hockey players who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

Two of Lafayette's Preseason All-Patriot League selections, Malinowski and Thedrian, including the Preseason Defensive Player of the year (Thedrian) were recognized.

To be nominated for the list, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team or selection to a U.S. National/international team roster) and nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

The Leopards opened the season against Kent State in a neutral site contest held in Evanston, Ill. on Friday.
