Field Hockey Remains Undefeated in Conference Play

Pasic scores her third goal of the season

WORCESTER, Mass. - Lafayette field hockey defeated Holy Cross, 1-0, in the fourth shutout of the season on Friday afternoon. The Leopards improved to a seven-game win streak and an 8-1 (2-0 PL) record.

Neither squad found the back of the cage in the first half.

Lafayette got on the board using a goal at 31:03 by Laila Pasic. A stray ball came into the circle, which Pasic batted around the Holy Cross goalkeeper after it bounced off her leg pads.

The Leopards kept the Crusaders scoreless in the remainder of the game, outshooting the hosts 2-1 in total. Holy Cross earned the only penalty corner of the outing.

Lafayette's junior goalkeeper Addison Kahn and her Crusader counterpart, Mia McCloskey, each made one save.

Next up, the Leopards return to Easton to host American on Oct. 2.
