2009: Played a key role in the Leopards[apos] defensive backfield, starting four of the 10 games he played...made a tackle in seven contests, including a season-high seven stops vs. nationally-ranked Liberty...recorded first career interception in season opener vs. Georgetown...selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and boasted a 3.6 GPA in the spring semester. 2008: Played in two games...broke up one pass against Georgetown. AT BISHOP MCDEVITT: Two-year starter at defensive back who also lined up at running back and wide receiver...served as team captain his senior year...made 168 career tackles and forced five fumbles...made two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown...had three offensive scores for the Crusaders...named to the All-Mid-Penn Conference Second Team...member of the National Honor Society. PERSONAL: Son of Kim and Jeff McGovern...brother, Eric, is a senior safety at Lafayette...born 9/8/89.
