Biography

General: Serving as team tri-captain in 2011. 2011: Started all 43 games in which she played, mostly as a DH and third base...hit for a .229 average with seven RBI...had seven multiple hit games...had a six-game hitting streak...one of 13 Lafayette players selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 2010: Stared 46 of 48 games...hit for a .276 average with two homers and 19 RBI...had seven multiple-hit games...belted 12 doubles (tied for fourth most in a season)...five career homers place her in ninth all-time...went 2-for-3 in first game of doubleheader against Wagner (3/24), including knocking in the game-winning run in the fourth...posted season-high five assists in second game of doubleheader against Wagner (3/24)...homered in the final game of the Bucknell (4/10-11) series while going 3-for-3...three-run homer in first inning vs. St. Peter[apos]s (4/13) was enough to propel the Leopards to a 3-1 win...went 3-for-4 with career high four RBI in third game of series at Holy Cross (4/25)...one of eight Lafayette players selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 2009: Started 37 of 39 games, finishing with a .226 average with two home runs and 16 RBI...collected two RBI against Wagner (3/17) with a bunt and a sacrifice fly...went 2-for-3 against Wisconsin-Green Bay (3/19)...scored the game-tying run against St. Peter[apos]s (3/20)...hit .333 in Bucknell series (4/4-5)...scored one of team[apos]s two runs in third game against Holy Cross (4/19)...went 2-for-4, scored game-tying run and drove in two RBI in eighth inning versus Colgate (4/26)...went 1-for-2 and scored against St. Peter[apos]s (4/29). 2008: Starting third baseman in three games while making 10 appearances as a pinch hitter...served as the designated player in nine games...hit for a .294 average with one home and four RBI...singled and doubled against Rider (4/1) with an RBI and a run scored (2-for-3)...hit a single against Lehigh (4/6)...first career home run gave Lafayette a 5-4 victory over Colgate (4/20)...was 2-for-3 against Wagner (4/22)...registered a hit in lone at bat as pinch hitter against Bucknell (5/8) in the Patriot League Tournament...hit two singles against the Bison (5/10) in second post-season game...singled and scored a run against Lehigh (5/11) in the Patriot League Tournament title game. Favorite Quote: 'Live today, for tomorrow it will all be history' Why I Chose Lafayette: I chose Lafayette because it gave me the ability to mix both a challenging engineering program and Division I softball into my college experience. Not many schools provide the opportunity to excel in school and athletics, and I believe Lafayette provided me with the opportunity to do both.
