2020: Served as a team captain in a season cut short by COVID-19...one of 36 Leopards selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, posting a 3.85 GPA...started all six games...scored five goals and had one assist for six points...added 11 ground balls...had a four-game streak of scoring at least one goal before season was canceled.

2019: Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...finished fifth on the team in scoring with 16 goals and third in assists with eight for 24 points...added 28 ground balls and six caused turnovers...started all 15 games for the Maroon and White.

2018: Played in all 15 games for Lafayette, starting three...finished fourth on the team in scoring with nine goals to go along with four assists...picked up 24 ground balls and caused seven turnovers...had his best career game in the 11-10 win over Monmouth (4/3), recording four goals...picked up five ground balls in the loss to Loyola (2/21)...member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

At Rumson Fair Haven: A three-year starter at midfield, scoring 103 career goals and 34 career assists for 137 career points…won three state championships as a running back on the football team…named First-Team All-Shore in lacrosse during his junior and senior years and was a team captain in his senior season…selected as the Jersey Sporting News Lacrosse Player of the Year in 2017…won Shore Conference Championships in 2014 and 2016 and a Group 1 State championship in 2015…earned All-American and First-Team All-Group 1 laurels in 2017…achieved high honor roll throughout his academic career and was given the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award.

Personal: Son of Suzy and Richard Hess...has two older sisters, Kaitlyn and Brittney...born on Jan. 4, 1999.
