Andrew Foster is entering his eighth year at Lafayette first as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations. Prior to his promotion in 2022, he served as associate athletic director since 2015. 

Foster's sport oversight includes baseball, fencing, field hockey, soccer and football programs. Additionally, he is the athletic department administrative liaison for recruiting, working in conjunction with the admissions and financial aid offices. Foster is also a member of the Commencement Committee, the Dining Services Committee, the Sustainability Committee, the Patriot League Sport Management Committee and is the Patriot League Administrative Representative for Men's Soccer.

Prior to his arrival at Lafayette, Foster spent two years as the assistant athletic director for facilities and operations at Kent State. At Kent State, Foster oversaw all of the school's athletic facilities, directing event management and facility rentals. He was responsible for evaluating, developing and managing policies and procedures related to the operation of athletic facilities while maintaining a $1.4 million budget.

Prior to his time in Ohio, Foster worked as the facilities/event management coordinator at Rice University in Houston, Texas, from May 2012 through February 2014. He was responsible for the facility and event management for the baseball, women's soccer and women's swimming teams.

Foster was a facilities/event operations graduate assistant at Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va. from 2010-12, when he earned his master of science degree in Sports Administration. The Portage, Ohio, native's experience in facility operations began as an undergraduate intern at nearby Bowling Green State University. He received his bachelor of science degree in Sports Management from Bowling Green in 2008.

Foster and his wife Caroline reside on College Hill with their three sons, Beau, Jay and Drew.
