Brandt Godshalk enters his ninth season as an assistant coach with Lafayette. Godshalk, a Bangor, Pa. native, came to College Hill with 13 years of coaching experience at the high school level. He most recently served as the freshman coach at Phillipsburg (N.J.) from 2004-07, a post he also held from 1999-2001. Godshalk works with the Leopards' outfielders and the hitting corps, and serves as the first-base coach. Godshalk was also the assistant varsity baseball coach at Phillipsburg in 2003, working primarily with the pitchers and catchers, and spent 2002 as the junior varsity coach. He is also in his 10th year as a health and physical education teacher at Phillipsburg High School. Prior to Phillipsburg, he spent three seasons (1995-98) as the junior varsity baseball coach at Belvidere (N.J.) High School. A veteran of the Blue Mountain League, Godshalk graduated from East Stroudsburg in 1995 with a degree in Sport Fitness Management and later earned his physical education certification from ESU in 1998. Godshalk resides in Bangor with his wife Christine, and their daughter Maeve and son Kale.
