2022: Made 12 starts on the mound for the Leopards in his sophomore season…pitched 66.0 innings and struck out 73 batters…finished the season with a 1-10 record while posting a 4.50 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP…threw two complete games, March 4 in the Leopards 3-0 win over VCU and March 26 in the Leopards 1-0 loss to Lehigh…named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week on March 8. 

2021: Started in three of the eight games he appeared in…ended the season with a 2-2 record…recorded 27 strikeouts and a 3.62 ERA over 27.1 innings of work…recorded one save.

At Simsbury: Two-year varsity starter at right field, first base and as a right-handed pitcher…hit .364 with 29 singles, 10 doubles, five homeruns, 26 RBIs and 24 runs…recorded a 2.127 ERA with 81 strikeouts…was named to the CCC All-Academic Team both seasons.
 
Personal: Son of Tom Benneche and Joyce Benneche…has two older siblings, Sarah and Thomas.
