Biography

2019: Played in six games during his final season as a member of the Lafayette football team...made a career-high three tackles in the Bucknell game (10/26).

2018: Joined team prior to 2018 spring season...did not see any game action...one of 27 selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, holding a 3.25 semester GPA

AT FAIRMONT HEIGHTS: Three-year letterwinner who played running back, wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner in high school...also participated in track and field as a sprinter and was a member of a Maryland state championship team...four-year starter in baseball, playing shortstop, second base and outfield...selected as the Prince George's County All-Star team and was the team MVP, helping guide the baseball team to three county championships...member of the Principal's Honor Roll...named the school's 2017 male athlete of the year...volunteered in a summer program for special education students....earned a POSSE Scholarship at Lafayette.

Personal: Son of Clennie and Kia Murphy...has younger brothers, Solomon and Malachi...born 6/20/99.
